Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., founded by George D. Brooks, opened its
South Boston location in 1935. We are now in our fourth generation
of Brooks Family ownership. Kathryn Jones Comer, great-granddaughter
to Mr. Brooks, and her husband Gene, continue to emphasize personal,
family service for you and your family. Our staff is caring and
committed to providing you with the quality, professional service

We are a full service funeral home, offering pre-need arrangements,
at-need services, and aftercare to all of southside Virginia and
northern North Carolina. It is our goal to provide you and your family
with caring and compassionate service in your time of need. We offer
personal service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to take care of all of
